Still Life With Body Parts

Call me weak, call me wimpy (at this point I'd actually agree with you), but today I just could not bring myself to suffer in the brutal cold for yet another agonizingly painful self-portrait shoot. Tomorrow? Perhaps...but on this day (for whatever reason), I honestly just wasn't feelin' it.

I did go to a couple of different places to take some selfpics indoors where it was warm, but they're really super boring - and so I'm reluctant to post 'em. When I got back home and realized how disgusted I was with the day's yield - I knew that I simply couldn't end on such a sour note...so...I decided to try something a little different than my norm (see above). Not sure if I'm really diggin' it, but it's definitely a far cry better than those other pics. that I took today...

    1. @Steve - THANK You, Steve! It's definitely intimidating to shoot my body SO close up, but I did enjoy trying something different, and I have several other ideas that I might wanna try - so, Yes! I shall continue to explore this genre! (Until the weather breaks, at least)...

  7. Double Wow!

It took me a couple of seconds to realize what I was looking at but then the "Wow" factor kicked in.

I for one, am glad that it was just too cold outside.

    Go Lauralyn!
