Ok, while I'll still hold the indoor shot with the deer antlers as my favorite pic of yours - ever. These two definitely rise to the top 10. The first pic has a photo journalistic vibe to it... sultry, but so many possible stories options for this pic. The second... if you truly did a self timer on this, then I'm nominating you for the self pic Hall of Fame... this is awesome! You're refreshingly original. I love your vibe LL! ;-)
@Mike Dumont & @Anonymous - Yep, I did actually capture this image after having set my little camera on the 10 second timer! My traveling companion was there for this shoot, so I even have a witness who would vouch for me. And somehow I managed to get a picture with which I was happy, after only about 6 frames - which kinda blew my mind a bit, since the noise created by the wind and the waves made it impossible for me to hear the timer beeps that I rely on in order to time my pics. properly…SCORE!
There is nothing cheesy about a beautiful woman flipping her hair in the ocean. If the Little Mermaid can do it, so can you. I love the top shot to, dark and a bit mysterious as I can't tell if she's going to or returning from a meeting with King Neptune.
@Bohemianchic76 - It's the coolest place ever, Anguilla…
Things with me are GOOD, these days! I hope life is treating YOU well!
You should stop by my gallery sometime, so we can catch up! I'm at 29 N. Loudoun St. on the Old Town Mall…right next to Union Jack, up on the second floor…would love to see you!!!
Hi Lauralyn,
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I have to ask, did you really do a self time for the wet hair shot? I can't believed you timed that.
Mike Dumont

ReplyDelete@Advizor54 - Haha! Ok, if you say so! I still can't help but think the hair flip pic., is just a wee bit cliche though…
