American Gothic


A BIG "Thanks!" goes out to my precious and adorable, cuter than cute friend - for shooting with me on his farm today! Had a blast!

  2. Wow...i'm speechless. You having trouble taking pictures of yourself? No way! haha either way really like the composition of this shot and his pose and your pose as well. Almost reminds me of the end of a love story. Or the end of an argument :) Now i wanna be involved in pics damn it! ;p

    1. @Osmyn Oree - No SERiously! I STRUGGled with the pics. that I staged all alone that day, blah...luckily though, shooting with my friend went surprisingly smoothly (so that definitely made up for my disappointing showing) - he was just SO super easy to work with! So MUCH so, that we've tentatively planned to take MORE pics. together on Friday WOOT!!! :D

  4. This is a really super picture. The colours of the structure, the greenery, the blue sky, and both poses all work to make it so. And the "story" about these two people makes us think.

    1. @Raymond - It was a refreshing break from my norm, to try and be a (somewhat?) believable character for once. I do feel like working with another person kinda helped to keep me from going off into one of my typical, bizarre fantasy lands . Oh! And the setting really was spectacular - I just felt so lucky to be there!
