Excellent shot, but your B-Sides shot just might be one of the most powerful images you've ever shot! It got an involuntary "Whoa!" out of me when I first clicked on it. Awesome work!
@Steve - WOW, Steve - how awesome is THAT?! I wonder what it is exactly, about the B-Sides pic. - that caused you to have that reaction...I'm thinking that it may be because for once - I'm looking straight into the camera? Anyway, I'm just SO happy to hear that you like this set! I'm personally still unsure of how I feel about 'em exactly...like are they maybe too weird, or gross looking, or something?

This is worthy of the photographic masters: Edward Weston, Ruth Bernhard, (They were contemporaries and friends.) Ansel Adams, Bill Brandt, Robert Mapplethorpe, Alfred Stieglitz, Julia Margaret Cameron and the like.
Once again, I must give you the best compliment I can, and that is: "I wish I had taken these."
@Raymond - I'm literally speechless, Raymond...I seriously don't know what to say...it feels almost sacrilegious (or something?) to have my work mentioned in the same breath as the photography legends that you listed above...It's such an enormous compliment - it's almost like it's too huge for my feeble brain to grasp! And to hear you say that you wish that you'd taken them, on top? Honestly, just blows my mind that much more...Thank You SO much for always encouraging and nurturing me as I (try to) grow as an artist!!!
I have to admit that I didn't particularly care for this picture at first. i think the vagueness and splotchiness turned me off.
but that changed as I looked more closely and let my eyes move from your torso down along your arms and the veins began to come more clearly into view and the picture ultimately focused on your hands. Then, the vitality of the picture grabbed me. I also was reminded that Although your hands were the focal point of the picture, there was a fun irony that you did this with "no hands". Well played...
@Ted - I quite agree with you! I spent a whole afternoon taking these pics., and yet sadly - when I uploaded them onto my computer - I was very disappointed with how the whole lot had turned out. They were however, the only new images at my disposal with which to update the blog and my tumblr., so I forced myself to continue editing them...and by the time I had chosen the two that I ended up publishing - I was amazed by how much both of the pics. had grown on me.
