Just Under the Wires

Had two super, double, extra excellent days of shooting, this week - and they wouldn't have been possible had it not been for my new partner in photography crime...and so to her I say, "THANK You!" for leading me to such killer locations, and for collaborating with me! (I'll post a few of our collab pics. soooooon!)

  1. I really like this - looks like... are you worshiping the wires or the towers or the sky? Or just dancing there? or ...

    Nice

    1. @sin - Thank You! I was definitely grateful to be shooting in such a stellar location, with a good friend/amazingly talented artist there with me, and on the most glorious day imaginable - so it's entirely possible that all of that goodness combined, sort of inspired this "worshipful" pose :)

  2. Once again I must say that I prefer the out-take. The slightly lower angle sets your figure further against the sky, and the narrower cropping appeals to me. But both are great, as usual.

    1. @Raymond - I prefer that one as well, Raymond - and for all the same reasons that you listed! Great minds...(as they say)!

  3. Lauralyn, What can I say? You are incredibly inspiring. Okay, so I have to set a goal for myself to get outside and do some photos. I have to release my fear and find a location that won't land me in jail. Which means I'll have to stop making excuses and drive someplace outside of the city. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.

    1. @Ella - YAY! You CAN do it, Ella! And I'd be willing to bet, that once you get over the initial anxiety of doing a shoot out in public - you'll be HOOKED! It's terribly thrilling - you'll see!
